The overseas KM cap was introduced in November 1938 as a battlecap. First pattern model was restricted to special persons and special ships. At 1939 the cap underwent some smaller modifications and was namned bordmutze? and now became a regular issue item to almost everybody in the kriegsmarine. Soft quality deep blue wool/rayon. The front have a machinesewn golden Yellow eagle. The front center of the hold down panels has a machine Embrodiereid national tri colur cockade. Unmarked but have the name of the owner left. Jakobs Heavy used and looks a bit tired
