Ernst Mengersen (1912-1995)
Started his career on Admiral Scheer and later in submarine duty.
During his career he sank 13 shipps with a total tonage of 68,316 ton. One of the shipps was the large US tanker Atlantic Sun (11,355 ton) Atlantic Sun had been heavily damage the year before by Johan Mohr on U124 but survive until 1943 when meeting Mengersen
