Old Swedish steel from the Karoliner era. For cavallery use
Manufactured at Arboga in 1680-1690. Mark after testshot and blacksmith label under the neckline.
Small Crown on inside and the number 16 which shows the weight of the armour. (16 * 0,425 kg)
Ther is also a number 54 inside the neckline. No idea of what this stand for. Maybe the soldiers home adress, Rusthåll 54?
